Making paper Hydrangeas with your heart punch

Hi all, Happy spring! :) its a beautiful day out today Ive been for my walk and there's not a cloud in the sky! God has blessed us this week in so many ways but in particular with an understanding of a deeper faith in Him which i know will see us through future hardships in life, its like the ultimate light bulb has gone on especially for me and i know i can shine that back to my family and friends :)
I had a really nice day yesterday creating these Hydrangea flowers how gorgeous did the turn out! they look just like the ones in our back garden! and they are soooo easy to make. I use the heart punch from stampin up for the flowers and the leaves and glued a half pear in the centers. Ive coloured them with certainly celery in the center and bashful blue on the outsides.

Here is another version of the same flower but with a larger 1/2" circle center. I also use the 2 step bird punch wing and branch for the leaves in this spray of flowers and the wide oval to add some curly vines. Glitter to finish!

And don't these look great with just a single flower on the card!

all the products Ive used to make these cards and more are from Stampin up and can be purchased through me here. you can download a print out of this free tutorial here
and now watch the video ! enjoy and have a great day..
Blessings to you

I have been unworthy, unwilling, unapproachable,
unrighteous, unmerciful, unreachable,
unteachable, unsure, unaware, unfair,
uneasy, undecided and unwise....
but because of Jesus and all He went through
I KNOW I have never been UNLOVED

I have loved you, O my people,
with an everlasting love;
with loving-kindness i have drawn you to me.

Bottle cap necklace with matching giftbox

Hi all, its another cold rainy day out today a couple of spring days have poked there head out here but that will all happen soon enough I guess. My daughter and I have been playing around with bottle caps and having heaps of fun with them so I wore one that I'd made with Stampin up DSP to a workshop a few weeks ago and ended up with another booking from that to learn how I made them. I recently did this workshop and created a gift box idea that holds the necklace and a matching card. It all went well despite having no electricity from power lines being repaired and me racing home because I forgot something...... lucky I was close to home! some days are just like that. I have done up some instructions on how I made this. It makes for a great workshop! If you live in my local area email me for workshop bookings

Making a milk carton box without a die

Hi all, we've all seen these cute milk carton dies for a while now but I still haven't bought one ...... so i thought id give you my quick version of this great project, not quite as small as the die but cute the same :) My daughter laughed when she seen it had popcorn in it..... a bit average but i didn't have any other treats in the house at the time so i went with what i had and tied the bird theme into it! a great little gift for someone watching their weight. You could add anything though! anyhow its still winter here and everyone likes hot popcorn! so its makes for a cute CORNY gift idea! lol I'm cracking myself up today!! anyway the pattern is below and i made the punch art decoration with the 2 step bird punch from Stampin up which you can order off me here. I used extra wings to make the leaves have a fuller look and double punched the large oval for the nest. To get the sweet treat cups (also from Stampin up ) to fit this pattern i cut some of the edging off either side then taped it in. Hope you enjoy this quick post today ...

Strawberry goodness

Hi all, I want to thank you for all the lovely emails from mums going through the same life changing experiences with there children. It has helped to recharge me which i am thankful for :) its also amazing how we can connect all over the world in this way. We got a cool postcard today from Beth showing us the campus and i just got a text from Ben showing me his clock in the wood tech rooms...coming along so nice!! :) all the moving parts are all wooden ...cogs and all ! and our youngest daugher is getting off the bus to have a job interview today ( praying for her)....its all happening today! :) life is good!

Just a quick post today to show you a neat card i made at a demonstration I did last Sunday. Using the tart and tangy stamp set and the boho blossoms punch for the leaf and stork! pretty cool cause it fit straight over the strawberry stamp! simply fold the flower in half then cut one petal down to the fold line and fold back the outer edges pop this up with a foam dot and it fits over this strawberry stamp perfect. Cute hey!

now enjoy the video......
Blessings to you

Small Men's Briefcase gift box

Hi all, Our nice cool winter has produced some really great fruit this year! the Mandarins have been so sweet and same with our lemonades. We got a nice lot of large passion fruits that's enjoyed climbing all over the Mandarin tree! we had to pick a lot of them already as some other little creatures are enjoying them as well and leaving us just the skin shells! we only have a very small back yard but we have been amazed how much you can actually grow in such a small space. We also have a Guava tree that should produce next year mmm yum cant wait!
anyway i was watching one of Dawn's videos today and just loved this men's shirt and tie card she made and wanted to use up the leftover DSP on something that could match the card so I came up with a cute little briefcase gift box! you could get 2 out of the leftover paper. See the pattern and video below (sorry the sound is a bit out of whack on this one...not sure why), Enjoy!
Blessings to you
